This history of the Embudo Presbyterian Hospital was written by Arthur Montgomery. The photos were taken by Laura Gilpin.

Arthur Montgomery was a geologist who discovered and developed the Harding Mine. During his time in Embudo, he provided a great deal of support for local initiatives and also financed the educations of numerous local youth.

The document was a bifold booklet. This copy came from a photo copy belonging to Carl Berghofer. From the Preface, it seems that it was compiled for use in conjunction with a Hospital Benefit in 1956. Perhaps someone in the community has an original.

It appears in its entirety here, in roughly its original formatting.
