We are making progress on your community center!

At the December 8, 2021 board meeting, we took the next step towards the renovation of this building, which will become your new community center.  The EVLCC Board of Directors voted to accept a bid from La Mesilla Construction of Española, NM and award a contract for the community center renovation.  Once the contract is signed, La Mesilla can begin work by securing needed permits.  In the meantime, we will be working to clear out the space and put everything in storage.

We cannot overstate how fortunate we feel for the funding that we have received for this project!   But we need your help.  We are still we are short of funds to complete the community center.

Here are three ways that you can support this project:

1) Provide your input. Please join us for coffee and conversation at our first ever First Friday event on Friday, January 7 at 10:00 am at the library.‍

‍2) Make a financial contribution. A donation of $150 will help us to finish another square foot of the community center and provide space for library programming and community meetings.  Click here to support this important project.

3) Donate materials. To reduce costs and be earth friendly, we are accepting donations of building materials in excellent condition.  The list of materials needed is here. Please email us at librarian@embudovalleylibrary.org to coordinate your donation of materials.
